Challenger Pale Ale Recipe:

Partial Mash:

3lb 2-row Pale Ale
2lb Chrystal 60L

Mashed in 6.5qt water for 60min at 150º then sparged with 6.5qt water.
(1.065 O.G., two gallons wort from sparge.)

4lb Mutton's Extra-Light DME

.5oz Nugget 13.2% 60min
.5oz Perle 7.5% 30min
1oz Challenger 7.5% 10min
2oz Challenger 8% 0min

Full 5gal boil topped off to 5.5 in fermenter

1.051 O.G.

Safale S-04 Dry Ale Yeast
Fermenting at about ~66ºF.
